The Waleska Farmers Market is now open and will now be held Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Heritage Fellowship Baptist Church, 3615 Reinhardt College Parkway. The markets are rain or shine and are open through Nov. 1. Offerings from North Georgia vendors include eggs, chicks, sweet corn, green beans, tomatoes and squash.

Canton Farmers Market @ Cannon Park, Downtown Canton – Make your plans to stop by ever Saturday from now until October 27,  from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the best in home grown produce, fresh baked goods, seafood, meat, pasta, eggs and local artisan items. Now in its tenth year at Cannon Park in Downtown Canton, the market is a Georgia grown, producer-only market, which offers space at no cost to farms within one hundred miles of Canton.  Find out more

South of Canton on Sixes Road is the Farmers Market at River Church, which meets Tuesdays 2-6 p.m. through October. Vendor options include fresh eggs, strawberries, raw honey, jellies, pickles, soaps and more. The church is located at 2335 Sixes Road.

Woodstock Farm Fresh Market @ Market Street –  The Woodstock Farm Fresh Market’s rules guarantee that it is the best market in the region to get locally grown fresh produce. Produce vendors are required to grow at least 85% of the product they bring to the market.  The Woodstock Farm Fresh Market is open every Saturday from April to December.
